During the first quarter of 2023, the top 5 cryptocurrency apps in El Salvador exhibited diverse performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. This data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a detailed look at how these apps fared.

Chivo Wallet saw a fluctuating pattern in weekly downloads, starting with 6.4K at the beginning of January and peaking at 9K in the week of January 23. The app's downloads then gradually declined to 5.4K by the end of March. In terms of active users, the app started the quarter with around 421K users, reaching a peak of approximately 546K in mid-March before ending the quarter with around 520K active users.

Riverex experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads during the quarter. Starting with 3.6K downloads at the end of December, the numbers fell sharply to just over 100 by mid-January. While there was a slight recovery to 2.8K in the week of February 20, the app ended March with no new downloads reported.

SafePal: Crypto Wallet BTC NFT had a modest performance in terms of downloads, with numbers ranging from 26 to 440 during the quarter. Active users also showed a decline, starting at around 2.1K and ending at 1.5K by the end of March.
